Laken Riley Act, Congress Starts and the Economy

I’m a little late getting this out. We had a snowstorm on Friday and my internet got knocked out and I only had one bar of cell service. In the South, ice and snow shuts everything down and I had to read and sit quietly with no distractions all weekend. I got my chores done and worked and cooked. It was a pretty great, old school weekend. #firstworldproblems

This week we talked to Buddy Carter, congressman from South Georgia about what to expect from this new Congress. Then Rep. Andrew Clyde on the “one bill versus two bill” discussion on reconciliation. Then Mike Collins, the representative for the district that Laken Riley lived in on getting the bill passed that bears her name and will hopefully prevent more tragic deaths like hers. Steve Moore wrapped it up on the economy.
