Around the Corner and Around the World

VA Sec Doug Collins, Shabbos Kestenbaum, Lt. Gov Burt Jones

So this was an interesting week. The podcast is a bit of a rough cut this week as with the storms coming through and challenges with power, wind and warnings. Some of the usual elements I use to smooth things out weren’t available to my producer, Caleb. So hope you enjoy the discussion and will forgive me for the roughness.

First up, Professor Matthew Boedy contacted me to talk about an upcoming event at Free Chapel with Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point. He mentioned he had written a book, but in all the communication to me, he didn’t say he was in opposition to Kirk. I’m not a proponent either way, but I do oppose the way that faithful Christian people are being malaigned by so called academics. This country is a freedom of religion space and I will always fight for that. This is a different kind of interview, but I thought it was worth listening to.

Then, Doug Collins, former Congressman and current VA Secretary, joins us to talk about his goals for the VA and I was happy to ask him a few questions he hasn’t been asked before.

Then Shabbos Kestenbaum updates us on his suit against Harvard and the state of antisemitism in America and the world.

Finally, we bring it home to Georgia with a look at Lt. Gov. Burt Jones’ navigation of the legislative agenda in the Georgia Senate.
